Bethlehem Area Public Library's fiscal health and ability to deliver programs, collections and services, depends on the generous support of people in our member communities. While 85% of our funding comes from public sources, much of what we freely offer to everyone comes from private funding. A gift to the Library is a gift to the community.
BAPL adds to the economic health of our community by providing resources to businesses and community organizations, assisting with employment searches, offering career building workshops, building literacy skills, and affording educational opportunities. Your contribution helps the Library provide programs, services and resources that are valuable and relevant to the community we serve.
A gift also helps to close the digital divide in our communities caused by rapidly expanding and expensive technology. Only the Library provides the disadvantaged and underserved population with equal access to resources, information, and the internet.
What's more, there are many ways and opportunities to support the Library. Consider which one best suits your interests and means: Annual Appeal, Buy-A-Book, Corporate Giving, Endowment Fund, Friends of the Library, Make a Bequest, Room to Grow capital campaign, or volunteering.
The Bethlehem Area Public Library is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit registered with the Pennsylvania Department of Charitable Organizations
