Be part of Local History at the Bethlehem Area Public Library

Everyone can help preserve our area's extraordinary local history for this and future generations. We encourage all individuals with an interest in the history of Bethlehem and the Lehigh Valley to get involved. There are a number of ways you can help:

Make a financial contribution that will allow us to continue the important work of acquisition, restoration and preservation of local history materials and collections.

Make a donation of locally significant historical artifacts that may include rare books, fine prints, notable community documents, old photographs and maps.

Volunteer. Your public library welcomes patron volunteers that can lend a helping hand where it is needed most.

We need your help. Thanks to dedicated individuals who help to preserve the past, we are able to make our area local history collections available for years to come. If you are ready to help or would like to know more, email, or phone us at (610) 867-3761 x224.
