Local History Collection Finding Aids (continued)
Papers and Artwork of Christian Friedrich Hellener include materials relating to the history of the Hellener and Morey families, but perhaps more significantly include a fascinating collection of watercolors done by Mr. Hellener over the years. His artwork reflects a man who was probably very well-educated, and had a fascination with the world around him. Favorite subjects included members of the animal kingdom, but he also frequently dealt with historical subjects as well.
Posters, prints and art in the collections of the Bethlehem Area Public Library identifies and catalogs the posters, prints and art that are available in various collections of the Library.
The Records of the Friends of Music of Bethlehem chronicle the activities of this influential group, and reflect not only their own activities in encouraging classical music education, but also the activities of other music-related groups and teachers in the area. The records also demonstrate the widespread interest and participation in musical activities of all types in the Bethlehem area.
The Bethlehem Area Public Library Map Collection contains more than 238 graphic
representations of Bethlehem and other areas, primarily in Pennsylvania and New Jersey.
