Join us as we present Alan Jennings speaking live at the library. The talk along with Q & A is entitled, “How to Pick a Fight: Throwing the High Inside Fastball at Injustice”.   Alan will discuss the behind-the-scenes aspects of being an advocate, and how to stand up for what is right without chickening out.

Alan Jennings was the long-serving executive director of the Community Action Committee of the Lehigh Valley in eastern Pennsylvania.

He has actively picked fights with slum landlords, predatory lenders, banks, insurance companies, realtors and politicians.

He has been called a prophet, a hero and a saint; his detractors have called him things we can’t print here.

Alan’s book, “The Pursuit of Fairness: Fighting for What’s Right In a World That’s So Wrong” will be available at the event.
