In celebration of Black History Month, we will look at the work of Romare Bearden, African American artist, cartoonist, teacher, songwriter, social worker, and soldier.  Though he explored many different media in his artwork, he is best known for his collages. We will read an inspirational picture book biography about Romare Bearden and then create a collage that reflects our lives and the change we hope to see in the world.    No registration is required.  This program is best suited to ages 4 and up.  Masks are a must!   This event will be held in the Youth Services Department on the 2nd floor of the Library.
