Discover the work of great artists through stories and hands-on art activities.  Learn about a famous artist, their technique, and make a work of art all your own using that same method.  You don’t have to be a great artist yourself, just bring your creative spirit and have fun! In this week’s session, we will explore the work of Keith Haring.  Make a work of art to take home and a second to display at the Library.  We are partnering with Lehigh University Art Galleries to promote this fall’s exhibit Thinking through Drawing: Works on Paper, Drawings, and Sketchbooks from the Collection and Community, which will include some of Haring’s work.  Gallery staff will be attending this session to provide professional insight into the work of Haring.  The event is open to those entering grades 3-6.  This event will be held on the porch facing the tea house.  No registration is required.  All participants must wear a mask.
