Are you registered to vote? Have you moved or changed your name recently? Come to the Bethlehem Area Public Library and meet the League of Women Voters of Lehigh County. Their volunteers will provide information on voter registration and the upcoming election. The League of Women Voters of Lehigh County is a nonpartisan grassroots organization of women and men. Information about their membership and services is online at https://lwvlehighcounty.org/.

On September 11, the League will provide information and answer questions at a table near the library entrance from 10 am until 1 pm. at the library’s main branch at 11 W. Church Street (the Bethlehem City Center). The Saturday morning the event will be held concurrently with the library’s popular book sale (September 8, noon – eight pm and September 11, ten am – four pm)

Registration for the November 2, 2021 election closes on October 18, 2021. People who plan to vote by mail are reminded to register in sufficient time for the county to process both their registrations and their mail-in ballot applications (due October 26).

League volunteers will provide printed registration forms and assist with online registration information. The Pennsylvania Department of State suggests that prospective voters have their Pennsylvania driver’s license or PennDOT ID available for reference as they complete the application.
