We`re thrilled to share that we`ve given our book return service a fabulous makeover! Instead of investing in a brand-new book drop, we`ve creatively upcycled one of our old book vending machines. Not only did this save valuable tax dollars, but it also gave us a chance to put our sustainable practices into action.
Our new book drop is not just a feast for the eyes; it`s also highly visible and accessible, making it super convenient for our patrons to return books outside of regular business hours.
Drop by to see this wonderful addition out front of the main library. It`s innovations like these that make our library not just a place to borrow books, but a community hub we can all be proud of!

Families will hear the book Magic Trash read aloud, see images of Tyree Guyton`s work, and then create their own artwork from the recycled and found objects provided. This program will take place on the 2nd floor of the Main Library in the Youth Services Department. No registration is required!
