Explore the intellectual and literary heritage of some of the most notable African American women writers in a thoughtful regular on-line discussion with Lehigh University professor Stephanie Powell Watts. In our next session, we will be discussing Ann Petry’s novel, The Street. This book, set in World War II era Harlem, was an instant best-seller when it was first published. Registration is required.
