Get to Know Amber Peirce Ahead of 11Fest!

By Dominic Trabosci

We are less than one month away from the Bethlehem Area Public Library’s annual fundraising concert, 11Fest! To prepare music fans for this exciting event, we’ve decided to get to know performer Amber Peirce in greater detail.

What kind of music will you be performing at 11Fest?

I will be performing a mix of originals and covers. The covers will range anywhere from the ’60s to today’s current hits.

What are your musical influences/favorite artists?

Some of my musical influences and favorite artists include Ariana Grande, Lady Gaga, Fleetwood Mac, Abba, Zach Sobiech, Taylor Swift, Elton John, Billy Joel, Janis Joplin, Pink Floyd, Queen, and Simon and Garfunkel.

What is it like going to an arts high school?

Going to an arts high school is an incredible experience I would never get anywhere else. It allows me to take advantage of some amazing opportunities, like 11Fest, and lets me explore my passion while also keeping up my academics.

How does it feel to be participating in 11Fest this year?

It’s a huge honor to be able to participate in this event along with so many other amazing acts. I am extremely lucky to be able to share this experience with one of my best friends Jillian Dolan and I am extremely grateful that Ms. Erica Dickson gave us this opportunity.

Where do you see yourself in 10 years?

In ten years, I hope to be continuing to do what I love and sharing that passion with the world.

If you were a ghost who would be the first person you haunt?

If I were a ghost, the first person I would haunt would probably be Taylor Swift. I would love to see her songwriting process and she’s super talented so that’d be incredible. Also her cats are like the most adorable so obviously I’d hang out with them.

To witness Amber’s performance along with all of the other acts, be sure to attend 11Fest on November 11th at 5pm at our Main Library location (11 W. Church St.). The concert is “pay-what-you-can.” Contributions benefit Studio 11, the library’s free public recording studio.
