Think Spring: BAPL booksale returns this month (May 16 & 19)

The Bethlehem Area Public Library is hosting another one of its famous book sales this month. The theme is “Think Spring!” as there is a large featured section on gardening with a great selection of books for the reader with a green thumb. Also, the music section is particularly loaded this month as the library received a large donation of rock music CDs and records.  In total there are over 20,000 books and other items for sale, most priced a dollar or less.

The book sale will be open Wednesday May 16th from noon to 8PM, and Saturday May 19th from 10AM to 4PM.

Book Sale Coordinator Laurel Stone noted that “We’re focusing on gardening books and we will have a lot of music as well. The line to get into the book sale always goes up the stairs and around the buildings. People just get so excited to get into the sale!”

This book sale is held at the Main Library: 11 West Church Street, Bethlehem, PA. Cash is accepted at the sale, as well as most credit and debit cards. The library will also be accepting donations of used books for future sales. Visit bestbooksale.org for more information.
