Kanopy

Stream classic cinema, indie film, and top documentaries online with Kanopy.

A bureaucrat tries to find a meaning in his life after he discovers he has terminal cancer. Directed by Akira Kurosawa. With Takashi Shimura, Nobuo Kaneko, Shin’ichi Himori, and Haruo Tanaka.

Each month we pick a culturally significant film for library patrons to watch on Kanopy. Watch the film on your own time, then meet with our virtual film club to discuss the film on Zoom. Registration is required. Last day to register is April 20th. Email invitations for Zoom will be sent out the day prior to the event. Please check your email spam folder or call the library if you do not see the event invite.
