Support the Library

Bethlehem Area Public Library’s fiscal health and ability to deliver programs, collections and services depends on the generous support of people in our member communities.

While 85% of our funding comes from public sources, much of what we freely offer to everyone comes from private funding. A gift to the Library is a gift to the community.

Please know we greatly appreciate your generous support of our efforts to serve and enrich our community. The Bethlehem Area Public Library is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit registered with the Pennsylvania Department of Charitable Organizations.

Ways to Give

There are many ways to direct your support for the Library. Consider which one best suits your interests and means.

  • Looking to make a lasting impact? The endowment fund is our investment in the future.
  • Or do you simply want to give where help is needed most? A gift to the annual appeal supports BAPL broadly.

Your Contribution

BAPL supports the economic health and resilience of our community by providing resources to businesses and community organizations, assisting with employment searches, offering career building workshops, building literacy skills, and affording educational opportunities. Your contribution helps the Library provide programs, services and resources that are valuable and relevant to the community we serve.

A gift also helps to close the digital divide in our communities caused by rapidly expanding and expensive technology. Only the Library provides disadvantaged and underserved populations with equal access to resources, information, and the internet.

Questions? Comments?

We strive to be a welcoming place for healthy child development, parent and community involvement, and life-long literacy beginning at birth. Let us hear from you if you have any questions or comments about BAPL and its services.
