Last November a little saw-whet owl was discovered among the branches of the Rockefeller Center Christmas tree in New York City. He was taken to Ravensbeard Wildlife Center where he recuperated with Ellen Kalish, the author of our story.

We will read about saw-whet owls, the journey of little “Rockefeller,” and then practice our fine motor-skills with a cardboard & yarn lacing owl craft.  Masks are a must; best appropriate for kids in preschool and above. For your convenience, the story will be read on the hour from 12-6 on Wednesday and 12-4 on Thursday.
