Based on the book Wild Pork and Watercress by Barry Crump, 2016’s Hunt for the Wilderpeople is an adventurous comedy romp in the New Zealand bush starring Julian Dennison and Sam Neill as an unlikely fugitive duo. New Zealand director Taika Waititi’s of recent Jojo Rabbit fame directs.
Each month we pick a culturally significant film for library patrons to watch on Kanopy. Then our virtual film club meets on Zoom to discuss the film! Registration is required. Last day to register is January 26th. Email invitations for Zoom will be sent out the day prior to the event.
