Volunteering at the Bethlehem Area Public Library is an opportunity to contribute your unique talents, skills and knowledge to meaningful tasks critical to the Library’s operation.

Take on a time commitment of your choice and feel an immediate sense of pride in your work.

We Need You

At this time, BAPL is looking for volunteers for the Adopt-A-Shelf shelf-reading program only. Shelf-reading is the work of keeping our collections in correct order. All other positions are full.

BAPL needs volunteers willing to donate just a few hours of their time on an ongoing basis. We provide all the training for opportunities that may include shelf-reading (keeping our collection in correct order), DVD / CD maintenance and shelving, delivery of materials to the homebound, and booksale donations sorting or assistance.

Contact Laurel Stone for additional information.

Note: Must be 18 or older. The Library does not accept volunteers through court-ordered programs. We do not give community service hours.
