The yearly celebration of reading and learning at the library returns to BAPL this year starting Saturday, June 8. The program will run through Thursday, August 1. The summer program offers incentives for kids who read books and participate in other learning activities at the library or at home. There are also all sorts of fun events at all our library locations, including magic shows, live animal presentations, art events, storytimes and so much more. Check the calendar on bapl.org for a full list of events — more events are being added all the time.
Also note that summer reading is not just for kids! We have a lot of fun and interesting events for adults at the library this summer, as well as a chance to earn prizes for reading — just like when you were a kid! More details are coming soon and be sure to register on June 8 at the library!
